I don’t know why I always end up here at Highlands Cafe. Even after hearing the baby-rat-in-a-cake story, I still manage to drag my way back to this coffee shop. Saigon Paragon across the street is glowing, luxury signs all over the building.
‘Maybach is Coming’
‘Marc by Marc Jacobs (yay!)
‘Givenchy …
etc. etc. otherwise money money money!
Regardless, it still does not beat the Paragon in Bangkok. That was a truly amazing luxurious mall. I can turn right and preview gadgets at the Mac store or turn left and admire the new lamborghinis. Although It would’ve been great if we had a local show us around (it is always better with a local to trade secrets about whichever city you’re in) but we did manage to find our way around town.
…(brb!) Time to watch my first movie in a Megastar movie theater. Let’s see how this experience is.

Love the Paragon in bkk. The chicken wraps on the bottom floor are worth the trip to Thailand as it is. I have yet to browse around the one in HCMC though…hint, hint!

Hii Britt!
It’s my first time reading your weblog and I absolutely love it. The baby rat in a cake doesn’t sound too appetizing though.. yuck!
Haha anyway, I’m going to continue reading. I hope you are doing well!
