For sometime now, I was obsessed with the color orange. I went through a variety of identities throughout the transition of the internet and it’s “community gathering” websites (ie. asian avenue, xanga, myspace, facebook, etc). Way too many portals. Even more so with messenger services, I guess it was a phase that stuck with me for quite some time. Unbeknownst to me that my mother’s first name translates to Tangerine in English. Long story short, the coincidence in this little fixture gave me the idea to entirely dedicate everything (as I’ve should) to my mom using her name in English translation, Tangerine. It’s my dedication to my mother, through the years, I slowly started realizing she was my one best friend that will be by my side through all my truimphs and will continue to be there through my crisis and forever more.
